With Docue it's possible to save self-filled document templates to your Docue account, essentially creating your own customised templates. Pre-filled document templates make it easier and faster to draft contracts in situations where only a small amount of information changes each time it's drafted.

You can save the necessary information to any document template and then save the filled document as your own document template for later use.

In order to create your customised template, select the desired document template and begin by filling in all the information that is permanent. It is not advisable to save changing information to the document template as this may cause accidental incorrect information.

Saving a document template:

When you have filled in the necessary fields, do not continue to finalise the document. Instead click on "More" in the top right corner of the drafting view and select "Save as template" from the drop-down menu.

You can give your custom template a name so it's easy for you to find when you need it.

You can find the saved document template by selecting "Create document" and opening "Own templates".

If you are looking to use your company's existing templates in Docue's intelligent service, you can send your document templates to [email protected] and request an offer to import them into the service.
