Have you created a document that you would like to use as a model for new documents? In this article I'll show you how to do it.

1. Go to the archive card by clicking on the document you want to use as a base for your custom template. If the document is already completed or you wish to create a copy, press "Duplicate" from the menu that opens up from the three dots next to the document name. In other cases click "Edit".

2. Edit the document to make it look the way you want. You can add or remove information from the template. We recommend you leave empty fields where the information might change (for example parties) with the custom template, so it doesn't contain wrongful information once you start using it to create new documents. Once filled out, press "More" and then choose "Save as template"

3. The template can now be found from the tab "Create document" under "Own templates". It is visible for all users on the company workspace. Your own template lets you create documents just like the Docue templates. Choose "Crete document", if you wish to use your own template as a base for your document. If you need to edit the template you've created, do as instructed below.
