Why can't I find the document I've created in the archive? (legacy)

Are you unable to find a document you've created? Below we have combined instructions for the most common reasons why you might be unable to find your documents.

Legacy vs Docue Drive-2Note: This article is for our legacy archive.

See "Documents" instead of "All documents" in your sidebar? You're on the new Docue Drive. Head to the Docue Drive guide instead!

To migrate to Docue Drive, email us at support@docue.com!

The most common reasons, why you can not find the document you have created are:

  1. You have created the document in another workspace and need to switch workspaces.

  2. You are accidentally on "create documents" -page when you should be on "All documents".

1. Switching workspaces

Access to the company workspace requires registering a free personal workspace. Log ins for both the personal and business workspaces happen with the same identification.

If you can't find the document in "Recent documents" in "All documents" -page, it's possible that you've created it on another workspace. To switch between workspaces, click on the company or your name in the top left corner and then click "Switch workspaces".

2. All documents

All workspaces have their separate "All documents" archives. Please note that if you want to continue editing a unfinalised document you have started to edit before, you can find and edit the document in "All documents". Only completely new documents are created in "Create document".
