What is your situation?

1. The document is drafted

You can always start drafting a document and select "Continue later", at which point the document will be saved as a draft in your Docue archive.

Return to editing an incomplete document by opening the document you want and selecting "Edit Document". The service automatically saves your changes, so you can return to edit the document multiple times.

2. The document is finalized

Once the document is finalized, meaning it has been sent out for signatures, it is no longer possible to edit since returning the document to editing mode invalidates the document's signatures and sent signature invitations, and charges already made will not be refunded. Any signature fees will be charged again when you move from editing the document back to the signature stage.

You can edit a document that has already been send out for signing by opening the document details and selecting Edit Document:

3. The signing invitation went to a wrong email address

You can edit the contact details by opening the desired document document and choosing "Signing". Choose "Invite Again", fill in correct contact details, and send a new signing invitation.

NOTE! This function does not change any contact details in the actual document.

4. Completed document

A completed, i.e., signed document can no longer be edited. However, you can copy the document as a new draft and use the information from the completed document to create a new one.
